This website and the applications it describes are published by Amar Labs Inc. ("Amar Labs", "we", "us"). You can reach us at any time at info@amarlabs.net.

Our apps are licensed to you, not sold. Downloading one through the App Store gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use it on devices you control, for as long as you follow these terms.

Every app we publish through the App Store is also covered by Apple's standard end user licence agreement. Where these terms and Apple's agreement disagree about the app itself, Apple's agreement governs.

Please do not take the apps apart and rebuild them, strip the scripture or content out of them for redistribution, or use them to break the law or to harass anyone. Beyond that, they are yours to use.

Some apps offer an optional auto-renewing subscription. The scripture and readings in our apps are free and are never part of what a subscription buys.

• Billing. Apple charges your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. We never see or hold your payment details.
• Renewal. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before that period ends.
• Cancelling. Cancel in your Apple Account settings, under Subscriptions, or from inside the app. Cancelling stops the next charge; you keep what you have paid for until that period ends.
• Prices. Prices are set per App Store region and can change. Apple notifies you before a price increase takes effect on an existing subscription, and it does not take effect without your agreement where Apple requires it.
• Refunds. Apple handles all refunds for App Store purchases. Ask at reportaproblem.apple.com using the Apple Account that was charged. We cannot issue a refund ourselves, though we will help you sort out what went wrong.

Our apps work without an account. Where one is offered it is optional, and you may delete it from inside the app at any time. Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you are responsible for what is done with your account.

The text, design and images on amarlabs.net are ours, except where they are not: the Download on the App Store badge and the Apple name are Apple's, used under Apple's guidelines; Archivo, the typeface, is used under the SIL Open Font License, and its licence travels with it.

You are welcome to quote or link to anything here. Please do not copy a page wholesale and present it as your own, and do not use our name or app names in a way that suggests we made or endorsed something we did not.

Scripture quoted in our apps and screenshots is Gurbani from Sri Guru Granth Sahib, which we present with respect and do not claim to own.

We build carefully, we test, and we fix what is reported. What we cannot promise is that an app will be free of every fault, available without interruption, or suited to a particular purpose you have in mind. The apps and this website are provided as they are.

We also depend on things outside our control — Apple's App Store and billing, iOS itself, and the networks in between — and we are not responsible when one of those fails.

To the extent the law allows, Amar Labs Inc. is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the apps or this website. Nothing here limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law, and in some places consumer law gives you guarantees that these terms do not take away.

Support is by email, at info@amarlabs.net, and it is answered by a person, usually within a couple of days. Apple is not responsible for providing support for our apps.

The support page answers the questions that come up most.

If these terms change, the new version appears at this address with a new effective date. Continuing to use the apps or the website after that means the new terms apply.
